Over 3 trillion dollars in federal healthcuts are currently being proposed.

Though we knew they could be coming, their present reality is rapidly underway as of January '25.

Board overreach is impeding current leadership from advocating effectively.

By distracting operations and empowering a small group identified as disgruntled employees, instead of supporting leadership.

Many of the proposed cuts would make rural hospitals particularly vulnerable.

Among potential changes include the removal of not-for-profit status and sole community hospital status, as well as the implementation of Medicaid cuts.

Summit's total potential impact if cuts are enacted is up to tens of millions of dollars.
